Center for Schools and Communities Lending Library and Resource Clearinghouse

As an additional support to schools, the Center for Schools and Communities has amassed a clearinghouse of over 10,000 resources that address topics which impact the safety, education and success of children, families and their communities, including such topics as recovery after traumatic events, literacy, poverty, migrant education, dropout prevention, mentoring, preventing teen pregnancy, preventing substance abuse or helping students with substance abuse problems, community collaborations, technology in the schools, education reform ideas, school-to-work, and many more. Resource materials reflect different cultures and ethnic groups, including some Spanish language materials. The resources are suited for various ages, grades and reading levels and include curricula, print and multimedia sources.
