Mission Homefront

Pennsylvania provides the nation’s highest number of National Guard troops and the third largest number of all personnel serving in the military effort, behind California and Texas. More than 35,000 children in Pennsylvania have at least one parent currently serving. The Center for Safe Schools Mission Homefront initiative is designed to educate and provide resources for Pennsylvania’s school personnel and families who are struggling with the impact of deployment.
