Online victimization is a reality. Wireless Internet connections are everywhere – from laptops to cell phones to gaming devices – teens and young adults are rarely disconnected. While the use of blogging is on the decline, the use of texting, Facebook, Myspace, Twitter and instant messaging continue to be an avenue of cyber-expression for teens and young adults including the posting of negative, sometimes harmful, expressions. The Center for Safe Schools is committed to help communities with internet safety and digital dangers through Protecting Kids Online (PKO) initiative.
