Bullying Prevention Technical Assistance
Center for Safe Schools diverse and well-qualified staff provide guidance on tailoring interventions to address the needs of all students involved in bullying situations and offer promising practices to increase student ownership in forming and maintaining a safe, respectful school climate. Areas of expertise include:
- Developing long-term anti-bullying plans, including schoolwide and classroom rules against bullying.
- Creating strategies to engage parents as integral partners and methods to build positive connections within the school and community.
- Providing guidance in establishing bullying prevention committees
- Advising on policy development, based on best practice as well as adherence to state law, which requires Pennsylvania schools to have a bullying prevention policy and provide annual training for students and staff.
