Presented by Stacie Molnar-Main, Certified School Psychologist and Strategic Initiatives Manager, Center for Safe Schools, Camp Hill, Pa.
Effective bullying prevention should include consideration of how educators are addressing students' social and emotional learning (SEL) needs. This webinar will: identify research that indicates that SEL skills play a protective role in students' lives by reducing the likelihood that they will engage in anti-social behavior or become victims of violence, such as bullying; define the five types of SEL skills; address the research-based elements of effective SEL programming; and introduce programs that can be used by educators to address the bullying prevention and SEL needs of students.
